This appears to be a relaunch/renaming of their "No Hassle" card.
Curiously, the promotional literature I received does not identify whether this is VISA or MC. The card image shows that they've designed this card "upside down", with the chip on the right rather than the left, and no affiliation logo one would expect to find in the lower right.
1.25 miles per $1 spent, no annual fee, no FX fee. Miles can be used for travel or to credit against travel expenses charged to the card, including 90-days of retroactive charges. Miles can be used for any airline, any seat, no blackout dates. This resembles other cards proposing travel benefits. They can be reserved for gift cards etc, but I have not checked the penalty for so doing.
The current special benefit: 20,000 bonus miles after $1,000 spent within 3 months of account opening.
Unless you're chasing the 20k mile bonus, this card is clearly less flexible in its benefits than the 1.5-2% cash cards currently on offer.
Discussion of Credit Cards that offer Airline Frequent Flyer miles. Sample cards include American Express, Delta Skymiles, USAir BankAmerica Card, etc.
